Mindful Decisions
Mindful decisions for your health, well-being and longevity. Staying healthy can be simple, keep it that way and you will feel better and live longer.
Hydration - How much water should one drink?
Consider drinking only water and you will achieve an adequate level of hydration and feel better with more energy.
Activity - How much should I exercise?
Consider walking every day for 45 to 60 minutes continuously and you will feel more energy, reduce stress and improve your longevity.
Diet - What is the best diet?
Consider eating only whole foods including fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, grains and protein sources including meat or vegetarian and you will maintain a healthier weight.
Sleep - What is the best position?
The most important point is to get enough quality sleep. Minimum, 6 to 7 hours. Next, if you tolerate, the best position is side lying with a small pillow under your head.
Posture - How important is posture?
Consider attempting to improve your upright alignment and efficiency by keeping your head over your shoulders and shoulders over your hips with arms and shoulders relaxed.
Breathe - Should I perform deep breathing?
Consider performing slow and deliberate deep breathing into your nose and into your belly then out of your mouth ten times each hour to improve oxygenation and relieve stress.
Stretch - Should I stretch?
Consider performing a full body stretching program each morning and evening to improve your mobility, reduce pain and improve your overall function and posture.
